It doesn’t take good genetics or luck,
Let me show you how…
The power that made the body, heals the body.
Chiropractic is founded on the premise that you have an inborn intelligence that is programmed for self-healing, self-regulating, and the full expression of health. Chiropractic is a uniquely non-invasive, drug-free profession, that supports your optimal function through proper body alignment, uninterrupted nerve connections, whole food nutrition, functional fitness, positive mental programming, and the creation of a wellness lifestyle.
There are many misconceptions about the chiropractic profession… “chiros crack bones back into place”… “cracking joints is bad for you”… “they only fix back pain”… “once you go, you will have to keep going for the rest of your life”. Did you know there are many different styles and techniques of chiropractic? With so many options, it can be challenging to decide what is right for you and your family. Click below to have look at the WHAT, WHY, and HOW of chiropractic so that you can make an informed choice about your healthcare. Chiropractic is so much more than fixing backs and necks – it’s a holistic wellness lifestyle designed to help you naturally achieve your greatest potential.
Since then, chiropractic has grown into a trusted public health choice, with qualifications achieved through University education around the world, and ongoing scientific research supporting a variety of extremely safe and effective techniques.
Your experience of the world around you (including your health and happiness!) relies on the correct connection and function of the trillions of nerve messages communication between your brain and body.
The Nervous System has two main tasks: It has to process information, and generate responses, in order to maintain homeostasis (balance).
[Think about going for a run – your body starts sweating and you breathe harder to balance out your body temperature so you don’t over-heat! Very clever self-regulation.]
Chiropractors are experts in spine and nervous system health. Chiropractors assess the spine, not just to find out if it is correctly aligned, but because the delicate nervous system is protected within it. Since the health of your vital organs and tissues relies on the correct function of these important nerve communication pathways, the checks performed by a chiropractor are designed to find out whether or not there is any nerve interference. If there is nerve interference, you may experience health problems.
Why do we install smoke alarms in our house? To provide a warning signal of potential danger from a fire – which can have harmful and deadly consequences.
Our intelligent bodies also have ‘smoke alarms’ installed – You may notice the warning signals:
Would you ignore a smoke alarm or pull out the batteries because the noise of the alarm was annoying you? I sure hope you said no.
You may consider many of these issues to be common (hey, we all have fire alarms) – but it does not mean they are normal and okay to ignore. Many of us accept pains and problems as something we fix with medications, pills, and surgery. Unfortunately, this approach is just like pulling out the batteries in your smoke alarm. A quick-fix Band-Aid approach ignores the brilliance of what your body is trying to tell you!
Tissue damage can often happen without pain and sensory warning-signals, and this is why chiropractors assess the brain and body with specific neurological and orthopedic tests to determine exactly how well your nervous system is functioning. Is it a good idea to wait until you have chest pain before you get your blood pressure and heart health checked?
Chiropractors take a pro-active approach to your health and wellbeing. Regardless of where you are currently at with your health, it is certainly worth contacting a chiropractor to find out if you have nerve interference that is preventing you from achieving your greatest health and life potential. Chiropractic is a wonderful natural healthcare profession, which could be of benefit to you and your family. Please connect with me if you would like to know more.
There are many different techniques in chiropractic, and all have evolved to address the same problem – interference to the body’s expression of innate intelligence.

It’s a question I get every day, so let me answer it for you.
Inside your joints there is a capsule lubricant, known as synovial fluid, and gas bubbles, which serve as a source of nutrients for the cells that maintain the joint cartilage. When a chiropractor places specific directional force on fixated spinal bones, you may hear…pop! It’s not dangerous, or unsafe, it’s a natural response to increased movement in the joint which allows better motion and joint nutrition. However, ‘cracking’ your own joints regularly can create hypermobility (too much movement) and may increase muscle tightness as your body attempts to stabilise that part of your spine.
That’s why correcting joints is best left to spinal experts. To make your personal chiropractic appointment,
